For installation, vCard import, or privacy questions, email support@arkheos.ai and mention Contacts.

First checks

• Extract the complete ZIP and keep the contacts-marketplace folder in place.
• Run codex plugin marketplace add "C:\path\to\contacts-marketplace", then codex plugin add contacts@contacts-local.
• Start a new local Codex or ChatGPT desktop conversation. The address book begins empty until you add or import contacts.
• For import, use a UTF-8 vCard 3.0 or 4.0 .vcf file under 10 MiB. Preview it before saving.

What to include

Tell us your Windows and plugin versions, the step that failed, and the error text. Please do not email a complete address book, passwords, or private notes.

Remove local data

Uninstalling Contacts does not delete your records. Close the plugin and delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\ArkheOS\Contacts, or your chosen CONTACTS_DATA_HOME, to remove its local database. Keep a backup first if you need those contacts.
